Welcome to Anna’s Diary

A week passes so rapidly, and it has been so good just to have a few days off. To do the little things in life that I say “I will do that next week when I have time”. I did the third Hepatitis B vaccination.  It is good to have protection against, a rather severe, chronic infection that affects the liver.

Even though it is several months ago, I still had a few memories left from my vacation in Sri Lanka, so now they are nicely put in a box for future. That is why I didn´t feel like going anywhere this week. Still had beautiful Sri Lanka memories in my mind.

So, I chose to stay in Stockholm. To do the little things in life. And also to enjoy the lovely city of Stockholm. Water is very present in central town and I like that a lot. I have always liked water. Previously, I wrote that it is probably because I connect that to liberty. When I was in Gothenburg I got to learn the archipelago there very closely. And I miss it a lot. The salty water. So fresh. To watch the horizon and all the ships going to all over the world.

To remember and refresh my memories I went for a trip to Waxholm yesterday. The return from Waxholm to Stockholm was very beautiful. It reminded me a lot of Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, but smaller lime stones. It is so nice that the light now is present in the evenings, the temperature was perfect, even though a little chilly. Sharing a few photos. Feels like the first taste of summer is very tempting.

A few words about the beautiful weather that finally has arrived. A week passes rapidly and I am alternating between doing little, necessary things, and relaxation. I am lucky, I must say. It is like summer in Stockholm. So, yesterday I went for an excursion in Stockholm. Since I am grown up in the countryside, there is always some sort of longing for nature when the weather is fine. And, even though Stockholm is a big city, there are green areas in center town.

I don´t know why, but I like water a lot. I like to watch boats passing by on the sea. Probably because there is some kind of liberty I connect with water. When I go bathing I just love to dive. The sentence of freedom. But, I did not do that yesterday. I just watched the boats and happy people on holiday.

Yesterday there was a big football game at Friends Arena in Stockholm and there were happy supporters from England and Scotland going to the game. I usually don’t watch football very often, but yesterday I did. I was so glad to see that Manchester United qualified for Champions League after being in European League.
