  • Habits and autumn

Always a lot of talks about weather. It is a beautiful day. Calm, warm and sunny. Couldn’t be better according to me. It is a little like between summer and autumn. I have returned to my routines, my sports routines, and that takes a lot of time. During summer I have run since it is so nice to be outdoors.

I got a lot of muscle pain last time I went for exercise, but now I am all right again. Feels good to be back to routines. I need a lot of exercise so I often do about two hours every time I exercise. So, now I am exhausted but very happy to be back on track again.

  • Photography, imaging and Hasselblad

A few words, this rainy Saturday. It is always good to have a hobby, and one of my hobbies is photographing. I don´t know much about how to have a good photo, so I have started to learn some. I have always been interested in nice images like colours, different shapes etc. Probably because it is a way of expressing yourself. But it is difficult. When I lived in Gothenburg, I got interested in Hasselblad. When I feel for it, I watch the beautiful images in the Hasselblad book I have to get inspiration.

One evening this week I went for an introduction how to handle your camera. I don´t know anything about ISO, Zoom, White balance, Noice reductions and so on, and so on. There is so much to learn. The world today is so digital, and there is a lot to keep track on. I have focused more on motive and not so much on sharpness and various picture modes etc. So, I have a great challenge ahead.

Light is important and very difficult to handle. But, I am learning. After rain there is sunshine it is said, and actually, there is sunshine outside my window now.

  • Uppsala

Right now I am in Uppsala, waiting to go to the countryside. It is like old times. Not much has changed. Nice to walk through town. Since the book I am writing is taking place in Uppsala it feels like butterflies in my stomach. Passed by libraries where I have spent hours. And, as I mentioned previously, I have returned to studies. Candy, writing and a smile. Back to old school. I am looking forward to spend this weekend with my parents and my sweetie.

  • Kandy or Candy?

It is very beautiful in Stockholm now. I have returned to mode when I used to study. That means that I need sweets. Not chocolate but sweets. Very bad habit but it helps me to keep concentrated. That is why I went to Kandy in Sri Lanka, a beautiful town close to the tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya. A town namned Kandy must be something, I thought. I had tea and a cake at a cafe called “The white house”, I remember.

I am working on my book so it feels a little like an exam. It will never be ready. And I don´t like that feeling to never be satisfied. In that case, Kandy is a very good substitute. Or maybe Candy?
