En kväll som denna,

i månens skära sken.

Skogens harars och rådjurs spår,

yr bort i takt med virvlande snö.

Ny dag.

Mer snö.

Nya tassar syns i snön.

Knarrande steg mot nya jaktmarker.

Gnistrande snökristaller,

speglar längtan efter mer snö.

Christmas day. I am very happy. Such a beautiful day with a nice walk. I have followers from various countries so I better tell how it is in Sweden right now. A lot of people think we have polar bears everywhere. Not really true 😉

There is no snow in Stockholm right now, but in the country side there is a little. Not enough for skiing but lovely anyway. I love to hear the sound from snow when you walk. I did not see any signs of elks, deers et cetera. Only dogs prints. If I remember correctly, tomorrow is the day when there is traditional rabbit hunting.

I have thought of a poem this holiday. Will try to write.

Rather busy day. But nice. Good to be at home. I like to have Christmas feeling, and no Christmas without “Janssons frestelse”. It is easy to make. And delicious. Tasty. I love food. But in balance. Not too much. Western countries problems. But I can´t help that I like to cook. A long time since I followed one of my favorite interests. Find a new recipe. Find right ingredients and make food. Lots of food. Different types of food. Cross cooking.
