  • Early summer in Nice

    Since you can never be sure of Swedish summer weather, it is nice to go for a little trip to France. France really feels like an extra native country. Easy to rapidly settle in and finding a daily routine.

    When I arrived yesterday, I wanted to go for a walk at once. Sporty France. Cycling is almost like a national sport among both young and old people. As usual, I cannot resist dogs and I got to pet this sweet Tintin. He didn’t want to jump out of the backpack. You can see that he enjoyed the bicycle ride as the photo above relieves.

  • Practice makes perfect

    I sometimes have to remind myself of recovery which is good for my body. To do nothing, The cells need rest. My sofa is my ECMO machine where my body catches up. Yesterday was such a beautiful day and a little walk was perfect after lunch. I was endowed with so much energy by just watching Stockholm Marathon 2024. I also wanted to run.

    “Tjejmilen” (10 kilometers) is the 31st of August 2024 and there is still time to practice. Three months to go. This morning I did my usual training which is strength and fitness. Different from running. That is why I walked yesterday. I need to start slowly with jogging. Are you joining?

    I need more time to find the way forward for Molly´s book. To do that I need to deepen my knowledge in English so it will be more automatic when I speak. I have thought of writing Molly´s book in English, meaning I need to practice English.

    Lady´s book started many years ago, and I have summarized my work, and I am still reflecting. Unfortunately, I rarely practice English in Sweden, and I have to think about spelling, grammar etc. For example, I was going to write the word queue, and all of a sudden, I could not spell. Instead, it felt like a mix of English and French. Que? Or Queue?

    If I had more time, I would love to learn Spanish and Italian so I at least could speak. Since they derive from the same romance language family tree it should be possible.

    To begin with, I will start listening to the BBC news, and I hope my English will be more automatic.

    Molly´s book has begun.
